On January 22nd, 2009, Stephan Mayer of the Psychology Department and Steve Crowley of the Politics Department completed the final draft of the Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) Concentration proposal.  The proposal was accepted by the Oberlin College Educational Plans and Policies Committee (EPPC), and was approved by a meeting of the general faculty on March 4th, 2009. 


The PACS Concentration will appear in Oberlin College's 2009 catalog and students may register for courses in the concentration beginning on April 13th. Interested students are encourage to come and discuss the concentration with Faculty and students of the PACS group on Thursday, April 9th between 4:45 and 6 at the Peace and Conflict Studies Center located on the second floor of the Severance building.
